Located in the upper part of Myanmar, Bagan (Pagan) was the capital of the first Myanmar dynasty. The city is one of the country’s top attractions.
Bagan is full of the ancient buildings and architecture designs that were built from 11th to 13th century, during the Kingdom’s height. Pagodas can be found mostly covered in reddish color and religious monuments. It is estimated there are over 2,000 temples and stupas are located in the area.
The city is also a great place of local fine arts with lacquer-ware, bamboo arts and nice local tradition clothing…, which are the maintained to remind the beauty of the ancient capital.
Bagan has perfect climate. There is no rainy season like any lower parts of Myanmar so visitors can go to Bagan all year round.
