The 12 day program will cover all of Vietnam’s main attractions and students have the opportunity to look deeper into Vietnam’s history and culture. The tour begins in Saigon and works its way north to Hoi An in central Vietnam, then north to Hoi An and finally, to Hanoi. This vacation is one of the best Vietnam Vacations.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Welcome to Saigon

Upon arrival, your students will be welcomed and transferred to hotel for check in. Have a tour briefing around the bustling Saigon before dinner at an authentic Vietnamese restaurant.

Day 2: Saigon City tour
Today, your students will spend the full day discovering the city’s main sights such as:
- The Reunification Palace
- War Remnants Museum: Formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes.
- Ben Thanh Market
- Opera House
- City Hall
- Notre Dame Cathedral & Central Post Office
In the late afternoon, we return to the hotel and stay overnight in Saigon.

Day 3: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels
This morning, explore the famous Cu Chi tunnels, a Byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers and booby traps used by both the Vietminh and the Viet Cong.

Day 4: Saigon – Mekong Delta Homestay (Cai Be)
Take a boat trip to explore Cai Be floating market and prepare ingredients for the afternoon cooking class. During the day, the group can choose to join some exciting activities such as visiting the cottage industry workshops (coconut candy, rice paper, pop-rice), watching a performance of local traditional music, rowing boat on small canal or strolling on the island or bicycling along village paths.

Day 5: Mekong Delta (Vinh Long) – Saigon
Wake up early in the morning to walk along the village to enjoy the fresh air. Enjoy a boat trip to visit the brick kilns then learn how to farm catfish on Mekong River. Afternoon, visit Vinh Long market  before proceeding back to Saigon.

Day 6: Saigon – DanangHoi An
Take a morning flight to Danang. Upon arrival at the airport, drive straight to Hoian Ancient town. 
On the way to Hoian, visit My Khe beach near the city of Danang. Students are invited to collect sand or seashells as a remembrance of the commitment these young soldiers made on behalf of our country over 40 years ago. After a bit of reflection, we continue to Hoi An.

Day 7: Hoi An
After breakfast, take a short boat trip to visit a handicraft village specialized in ceramics, and also boat building yards. In the afternoon, bike to a small fishing village before transferring to Cua Dai beach for swimming and relaxation on the soft sands and return to town at sunset.

Day 8: Hoi An – Visit a local school  
This morning we will visit a local school and do volunteer services at school. Then, enjoy a half-day walking tour to discover the ancient town by visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200- year old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge.

Day 9: Hoi AnDanangHanoi – Bo De Pagoda & Buddhist Orphanage
In the morning, we catch the flight to the Capital city Hanoi. Upon arrival, your students will be met and welcomed by FarEastVacation.com driver to transfer them to Bo De Pagoda & Buddhist Orphanage in Long Bien District and have community activities for children here.

Day 10: Hanoi City tour
Today, your students will have a full day visiting the Colonial city with the historical, cultural places:  
-  Ho Chi Minh complex: includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, House on Stilts, One Pillar pagoda
Temple Of Literature – the first University in Vietnam which built in 11th century
-  One of the following museums in the city: Historical Museum, Hoa Lo Prison, Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Ethnology
-  West Lake & Pagoda
Hoan Kiem lake & Ngoc Son Temple
In the afternoon, enjoy a traditional unique show of water puppet to have the brief of Vietnam agriculture.

Day 11: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Biking
This morning, drive to Ninh Binh – well known as “ Dry Halong Bay”. Upon arrival, visit Tam Coc  then row atraditional sampans through the rice fields to visit 3 caves in Tam Coc. Afternoon, we bike to Bich Dong to visit the mountaintop pagoda and Hoa Lu.

Day 12: Hanoi Departure
Enjoy your last-minutes for shopping or free at leisure until FarEastVacation.com meets and drives the group to the airport for flight home.
