Vietnam Student Adventure Vacation
This is designed to provide teenager understanding of Vietnam culture and history combine with people in each destination. The adventure journey has various activities, consists of meeting a Vietnamese local family, studying a bit of Vietnamese, team building games with other Vietnamese, friendly people adventures in cultural discovery. The daily activities are well organized and the vacation is conducted by an experienced trip leader. This vacation is one of the best Vietnam Vacations.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Saigon

Welcome to the bustling Saigon – Vietnam !!!
Arrive at the airport, transfer to the city downtown. Spend your free time at leisure. If time permits, take a visit as following The Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral, The Reunification Palace.

Day 2: Saigon City Tour
Today, students spend the whole day discover The War Remnants Museum, Ben Thanh Market – this bustling and well-organized market is very popular, an ideal place for clothing, souvenirs and special gifts. Lunch with traditional Vietnamese noodle – Pho.

Day 3: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Mekong Delta Homestay
This morning, visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels, a Byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers and booby traps used by both the Vietminh and the Viet Cong. Afterward, drive to the Mekong Delta which is well known as one of the nation's treasured “rice baskets”. Board on boat to discover the cottage industries before take a boat along the Mekong River and its tributaries. Lunch will be in a local house set amongst fruit orchards and bonsai trees.

Day 4-5: Vinh Long – Mekong Delta Homestay – Hanoi
Take a boat trip to explore Cai Be floating market and prepare ingredients for the afternoon cooking class. During the day, the group can choose to join some exciting activities such as visiting the cottage industry workshops (coconut candy, rice paper, pop-rice), watching a performance of local traditional music, rowing boat on small canal or strolling on the island or bicycling along village paths. Evening, enjoy the cooking class and food before taking a short flight to Hanoi.

Day 6: Hanoi – Bo De Pagoda and Buddhist Orphanage
Start the morning day by taking a relaxing walk around Hanoi’s Old Quarter to observe daily life of locals as well as its rich history. Stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake before visiting Bo De Orphanage & Pagoda. Finish the day by having a healthy dinner at pagoda.

Day 7: Hanoi City tour
Today you have a full day to explore Hanoi.
-    The Old Quarter of Hanoi and the infamous prison
-    The “Hanoi Hilton”
-    Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
-    Visit a local school to have community here.
Dinner and return to hotel for stay overnight.

Day 8-9: Hanoi – Vietnam Friendship Village – Night train to Lao Cai
Today, travel to the Vietnam Friendship Village, where houses children and war veterans adversely affected by the chemical Defoliant – Agent Orange – sprayed extensively by US troops during the War. Spend the day to work on our customized volunteer-service project such as organic gardening and tree-planting, playing and interacting with the children. In the evening, transfer to Hanoi railway station for a night train to Lao Cai.

Day 10-11: Lao Cai – Sapa Homestay
Arrive at Lao Cai station early in the morning, picked up by driver and transfer to Sapa. Start the tour with a brief walking tour. Stop at  Sapa market before visitinga Dzay village for an authentic home-cooked lunch. Continue to explore Lao Chai and Ta Van to experience tribal life, agricultural and family practices.

Day 12: Ta Van – Sapa
Today, students transfer back to Sapa. Free time at leisure to discover the town on your own. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 13: Sapa – Lao Cai – Night train back to Hanoi
Enjoy your breakfast then start the day visiting the vibrant fairs and markets of the region’s tribal economy. Interact with North Vietnam’s minority ethnic groups – the H'mong, Dzao people. Enjoy a board game in progress throughout the marketplace. Late afternoon, drive to the railway station for overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 14: Hanoi – Home
Arrive in Hanoi in the morning early and then we will pick you up to drive to visit the early morning flower markets in Hanoi and enjoy a buffet breakfast before transferring to Noi Bai Intel’ Airport for flight back home. End trip organized by Far East Vacation.
