ITINERARY

Day 1: Welcome to the Capital city Hanoi, Vietnam

Warmest welcome at Noi Bai Intel’ Airport, FarEastVacation.com driver and tour guide meets and transfer you to the city center. If time permits, you will have a tour briefing to see the local life in the Old Quarter of Hanoi.

Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi City tour – Night train to Lao Cai

After breakfast, you will spend a full day visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his Stilt House, One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature. In the afternoon, visit Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, Tran Quoc pagoda and West Lake. Conclude the tour by enjoying a performance of traditional Water Puppet show, the unique of traditional art in Southeast Asia before transferring to Hanoi railway station for night train to Lao Cai.

Accommodation: Overnight on night train.

Day 3: Sapa – Trek to the tribe villages

Arrive at Lao Cai in the early morning and drive straight to Sapa town for breakfast. Afterward, start trekking to Lao Chai village to experience the daily life of Black H’Mong minorities. Continue walking Ta Van village for lunch and discover the life of Dzay people. Return to Sapa town in the evening for relaxation.

Day 4: Sapa – Trek to the tribe villages – Night train back to Hanoi

Visit Suoi Ho village with tea plantations and cardamom gardens. Follow the buffalo trails to visit the hospitable villages of the Black H’Mong minority people in Ma Tra. After lunch, continue trekking to Ta Phin village to meet Red Dao people who are famous for their weaving skills. Proceed to Lao Cai for a night train back to Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight on board Junk

Arrive at Hanoi railway station in the early morning. Have a short break before we journey Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Halong Bay. Arrive in Halong habour at noon, embark the traditional Vietnamese Junk boat to discover Halong Bay with Sung Sot “Surprising” Cave, one of the most beautiful and largest grottos of the Bay. Evening enjoy a delicious fresh seafood dinner and some activities on board Junk.

Accommodation: Overnight on board Junk

Day 6: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Siem Reap

After breakfast, cruise to a floating fishing village to understand more about the living of fish men in Vietnam. Sailing back to the harbor then we transfer to the airport for an evening flight to Siem Reap..
Upon arrival, enjoy the rest of the day at free leisure.

Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 7: Siem Reap – Angkor Temples

Today, you spend your full day exploring Siem Reap’s highlights such as: Srah Srang, Bantey Kdei, Chau Say Tevoda, Thommanon and the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple.

Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 8: Siem Reap – Angkor Temples

Today you continue discover the mysterious of Angkor including Angkor Thom, Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of Leper King and Angkor Wat.

Day 9: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake – Artisan D’Angkor – Departure

Travel by boat to the floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake. Return to Siem Reap and visit the local artisans at work, creating carvings, silks and others exquisite crafts. In the late afternoon, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
