ITINERARY

Day 1: Saigon – Welcome Dinner

Warmest welcome at Tan Son Nhat Intel’ airport and your Far East Vacation’s driver and tour guide will transfer you to the center Saigon. Welcome Dinner at finest local Vietnamese restaurant by FarEastVacation.com.

Accommodation: Hotel in Saigon.

Day 2: Saigon – Mekong Delta Excursion - Saigon

After breakfast, we meet you at the hotel and drive from Saigon to Ben Tre. On arrival discover the cottage industries before take a boat along the Mekong River and its tributaries. Lunch will be in a local house set amongst fruit orchards and bonsai trees. In the late afternoon, we will return to Saigon. Spend your time and overnight at hotel in Saigon.

Day 3: Saigon City tour – Fly to Nha Trang

After breakfast, explore the dynamic Saigon city with its highlights such as: Dong Khoi Street, the Opera House, the Colonial Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Saigon Riverfront, Cho Lon and Thien Hau Pagoda (Chinatown), and Ben Thanh Market for shopping. Afternoon, transfer to the airport for flight to Nha Trang. On arrival, spend the rest of the day at leisure for relaxation.

Day 4: Nha Trang

Today visit Oceanographic Institute then embark on board junk to discover Mun Island, the beauty of the live coral reefs, sea plants & creatures of Nha Trang Bay. Enjoy your leisurely time and seafood lunch on Con Se Tre Island. Visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium before returning to Nha Trang

Day 5: Nha Trang – Danang – Hoi An

After breakfast, take a morning flight to Danang. On arrival, transfer straight to Ancient town of Hoi An. Spend your free time at leisure or swimming at the beach or strolling around the ancient town

Day 6: Hoi An

Explore Hoi An on foot, visiting an old merchant’s home, the Japanese Covered Bridge, Hoi An Market and a local Chinese temple. Enjoy the afternoon free at your leisure to wander through the town or relax at one of the many cafés along the picturesque Thu Bon River.

Day 7: Hoi An – Danang – Flight to Hanoi

Enjoy your breakfast and then take a morning flight to Hanoi, the colonial capital city of Vietnam. Upon arrival, transfer you to the hotel. If time permits, have a brief city tour in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and walk around Hoan Kiem Lake. Continue for the city’s iconic Long Bien Bridge to learn about Hanoi’s past and present from a different perspective

Day 8: Hanoi City tour

After breakfast, spend full day exploring this hustle city by visiting Ho Chi Minh and his former residence, One-Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam. Continue the city tour to one of the following museums Fine Arts Museum, History Museum, War Museum, Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. Compete the day by enjoying a Water Puppet performance, one of the traditional arts in Vietnam.

Day 9: Hanoi – Halong Bay Excursion – Flight to Saigon

Today, journey to discover Halong Bay – Unesco World Heritage Site. After arrival, embark on board for a four-hour cruising on the stunning of Halong Bay to discover limestone grottoes. Lunch is served on board before sailing back to harbor. Afterward, transfer to the airport for an evening flight to Saigon.

Day 10: Saigon – Cu Chi tunnels – Departure

Spend half day visiting the famous Cu Chi tunnels, a Byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers and booby traps used by both the Vietminh and the Viet Cong. Afterward, return to Saigon for your departure flight to home.
