ITINERARY

Day 1: Yangon Arrival

Mingalarbar!
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel. Evening, dinner at Karaweik Palace with the fantastic view of the Royal Lake and Shwedagon Tower, following by a beautiful cultural show.

Accommodation: Hotel in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo – Golden Rock

Discover Golden Rock on the top of mount Kyaikhtiyo, the third most important pilgrimage after Shwedagon Pagoda and Mahamuni Pagoda. After lunch, enjoy the breath-taking view of sunset on top of the mountain.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Accommodation: Hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.

Day 3: Kyaikhtiyo – Bago – Yangon

After breakfast, enjoy an adventurous open truck ride for about 110km to Bago, an ancient capital dating back to the 6th century. Discover the beautiful 55 meter long reclining Buddha called Shwethalyaung and the 114 meter high Shwemawdaw Pagoda, the tallest pagoda in Myanmar. Visit the majestic Kambozathadi Palace and the Kyaik Pun Pagoda with its famous four sitting Buddhas. Transfer back to Yangon.

Day 4: Yangon – Mandalay – Mingun

After the flight to Mandalay, explore the Pahtodawgyi Pagoda, Mingun Bell, Mandalay Palace, Kuthodaw Pagoda and Shwenandaw Monastery, then conclude the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to watch the Burmese sunset and the panoramic view of the city.

Day 5: Mandalay – Sagaing – Amarapura

Head to the airport for a flight to Bagan. Spend a full day to discover Bagan’s most outstanding pagodas including Minkaba Gubyaukyi Temple, Mya Zedi Pagoda, Manuha Temple, Nan Paya Padoga and Shwe Sandaw Pagoda – the highest pagoda in Bagan.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Accommodation: Hotel in Bagan.

Day 6: Bagan – Mt. Popa – Bagan

Head to the airport for a flight to Bagan. Spend a full day to discover Bagan’s most outstanding pagodas including Minkaba Gubyaukyi Temple, Mya Zedi Pagoda, Manuha Temple, Nan Paya Padoga and Shwe Sandaw Pagoda – the highest pagoda in Bagan.

Day 7: Bagan – Mt. Popa – Bagan

Take a drive to Mount Popa and enjoy the magnificent view of mountainous landscapes on top of this famous volcano. Take a boat ride along the Ayeyarwaddy River to discover the local life. Special dinner and puppet show at a choiced restaurant awaiting, before returning to Bagan.

Day 8: Bagan – Heho – Inle Lake

Take a flight to Heho and then transfer to Inle Lake – the heart of Shan State and a major tourist attraction of Myanmar. Enjoy the boat trip to Phaungdawoo Pagoda and Ngaphechaung Monastery which is also known as “Monastery of Jumping Cats”. Travel to Nampan village to discover local silk-weaving and cigar-making.

Accommodation: Hotel in Inle.

Day 9: Inle Lake – Pindaya – Inle Lake

After breakfast, take a boat ride to the northern bank of the lake where you will be transferred by car to Pindaya. Visit Pindaya’s limestone cave and local handicraft workshops producing Shan paper made from mulberry bark, then drive back to Inle.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Accommodation: Hotel in Inle.

Day 10: Inle – Heho –Yangon

Leave Inle Lake for Heho to fly back to Yangon where you will be taken to the hotel. You may enjoy your free time for the day.

Day 11: Yangon city tour – Departure

Spend a full day exploring Yangon and its highlights from famous Sule Pagoda, Chaukhtayi Pagoda, Kandawgyi Lake and Shwedagon Pagoda. Enjoy some shopping at local markets until transfer to the airport for your flight home.
