Standing on the east banks of the Ayeyarwady River, Bagan is an ancient city in central Myanmar. With numerous temples having different architecture in the ancient religious style, Bagan is a destination not to be missed for visitors. The most typical temples of Bagan are golden Shwezigon, Ananda with 4 golden Buddha statues, Shwegugyi and Shwesandaw - the Buddha's hair relics. A popular experience to try is to hop on an air balloon in the early morning and admire the breathtaking views from above.
