Savannakhet is a city located in western Laos, on the banks of the Mekong River and neighboring Thailand and Vietnam. Travellers visiting Savannakhet are often surprised by the old French colonial architecture and the perfect conservation of Laos traditional culture. This land is easy to explore on foot, but “tuk-tuks” are very recommended to try.
