Day 1: Arrival in Vientiane

Welcome to the Capital city Vientiane – Laos!
Warmest welcome at Vientiane Intl’ Airport, you will be met and transferred by Far East Vacation to your hotel for check in. This afternoon we start visiting the major temples of Vat Sisaket, Vat Phrakeo and the impressive That Luang Stupa. Continue visiting the Arch of Triumph, the National Museum and the main market. Return to hotel and free at leisure as you wish.

Day 2: Vientiane – Vang Vieng

After breakfast, visit Morning Market before leaving Vientiane for Vang Vieng. Vang Vieng was once a key military airfield during the Indochina wars, the town’s central feature is the long abandoned runway along the eastern side of town. On the west side, a small river separates the town from the nearby caves & mountains, which can easily be visited from town. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant en route.

Day 3: Vang Vieng –Xieng Khoang

After breakfast, drive to Xieng Khoang for visiting the mysterious Plain of Jars and Hai Hin (Stone Jar Plain. Continue to visit some nearby hill tribe villages to experience their fascinating culture and a colorful history before back to hotel.

Day 4: Xieng Khouang – Luang Prabang

Today, journey to Luang Prabang – the old capital of the Lane Xang Kingdom. In the afternoon, discover the World Heritage site with visits to Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, the Monkey God and a fierce Yaksa, at Xiengthong Climb 328 steps to the summit of Phousi hill that dominates the sky-line of Luang Prabang for overlooking the finest panoramic view in the whole Luang Prabang.

Day 5: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves

After breakfast, embark on a boat trip to visit Pak Ou cave in the side of a lime stone cliff and opposite of the mouth of the Mekong and Ou rivers. Stop at Ban Muangkeo, a well-known village for Lao traditional rice whisky. Lunch is at a riverside restaurant before driving back to Luang Prabang for visiting Ban Xangkhong.

Day 6: Luang Prabang – Kuang Si Waterfalls

This morning, drive to Kuang Si Waterfall. En-route, you stop at Talad Phosy and visit Ban Na Oune , a small village of a hill-tribe group “Hmong and Ban Tha Pane village. Next, spend time for relaxing and a swim in cool water, before you head back to Luang Prabang in the late afternoon.

Day 7: Day 7: Luang Prabang Departure

There are no activities planned for today. You may enjoy your free time until transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
