Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, Kratie, Phnom Penh

Venture through Mekong Delta on a cycling tour of Cambodia that encompasses some of Cambodia’s most exhilarating regions. Travel from the vibrant capital city Phnom Penh to the beautiful beach of Sihanoukville and then to the home of Angkor temples – Siem Reap. Ride past paddy fields to the ancient temple of Angkor and on to the reminders of a tragic past at Phnom Penh. This one week adventure biking adventure is one of the best Cambodia Vacations.

Day 1: Phnompenh Arrival

Upon arrival at Phnom Penh Intel’ Airport, our tour guide will meet and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we have a short visit to Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum, and visit the Toul Sleng museum.

Accommodation: Hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 2: Phnompenh – Mekong Islands – Kampong Cham (35 km cycling)

Enjoy your breakfast before we embark on a local boat to explore Mekong Delta. Visit the weaving village then we bike along the Mekong Riverside to explore the traditional houses, local pagodas, local pharmacies, and school. Arrive in Kampong Cham in the late evening. Balance the rest of the day at free leisure for relaxing.

Day 3: Kampong Cham – Kratie – Mekong Dolphin (65 km cycling)

Today we will go through the plantation farm, countryside, robber plantation and forest all the way looks green and beautiful by cycling. Arrive in Kratie at noon time, lunch at local restaurant and then continue biking to visit the Mekong Dolphin before returning to Kratie.

Day 4: Kratie – Kampong Thom (85km cycling)

Today we do cycling in the long distance through the riverside and countryside to Kampong Thom. Stop in Chlong Village to see how the farmer plan tobacco then take a ferry to cross the Mekong River. Lunch at local restaurant before proceeding to Kampong Thom.

Accommodation: Hotel in Kampong Thom.

Day 5: Kampong Thom – Sambor Prei Kuk – Siem Reap (45km cycling)

After breakfast, followed along the main road to ride the bike on the back road to Sambor Prei Kuk temples which are the ruins remain from the pre-Angkor period dated in 6th century. Visit all those temples and continue the cycling to nearby villages, lunch in Kampong Thom town, and proceed to Siem Reap by vehicle. Upon arrival at Siem Reap check in and get refreshment at your hotel.

Day 6: Angkor Thom – Bayon – Ta Prohm – Angkor Wat (65km cycling)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then back road to Angkor Thom and visit the West Gate, Bayon Temple, Terrace of Elephant, Angkor Wat Temple, Ta Prohm Temples. In the afternoon, continue to big cycle visit to Ta Sam, Preah Khan Temples. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 7: Floating Villages – Departure from Siem Reap (35km cycling)

Early in the morning, we do our cycling tour on the small road along the village to Bakhong Village, visit the orphanages, primary school and ride the boat to visit Kampong Phluk Village, the continue cruising to Chong Kneas village which the most popular floating village in Siem Reap that you can see all things are floating on the water such as houses, schools, hospitals, police station. Return to Siem Reap by bike and free until transfer to airport for your departure flight home.
